The faces behind the voices

(Please note: this page is being gradually updated.)

Chairman - Andy Worth CHAIRMAN. Andy Worth was one of the founder members of the radio station at the old Dorset County Hospital ??!!?? years ago. With vast technical knowledge gained from working in electronic engineering and video/audio production, he is also a station engineer when required.
Peter Foster VICE CHAIRMAN & DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMMES . Peter Foster is another stalwart who was a founder member of the old Radio DCH (an hour a week, Thursday night, back in the dark ages!). Pete 'lives' hospital radio - his house is filled with archive recordings to prove it, including historic recordings of his other passion, the Swanage Railway. Amongst his, and wife Heather's, many location broadcasts are umpteen recordings made at Trooping the Colour, Royal Tournament, Edinburgh Tattoo, Chelsea Flower Show to name but a few, not to mention countless local OBs - the list would fill a website by itself.
Secretary - Heather Foster SECRETARY. Heather Foster and husband Peter travel far and wide gathering material for hospital radio and offer the daily Coffee Break programme amongst others.
Dean Emmery Hi I'm Deano. I present a couple of KFC shows when I'm not doing discos but someone's got to have all the fun and it might as well be me!
Kieran Williams

IT MANAGER. Kieran Williams helps promote the station in various ways. Kieran produces the imaging that makes the station sound the way it does by creating the jingles and ads and he presents shows like Ridgeway Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. Kieran is also manages Ridgeway 24 which provides the round-the-clock music system for overnight programmes and when presenters are occasionally unable to present their programme 'live'.

Andy Venton TREASURER. Andy Venton was another bitten by the hospital radio bug all those years ago at the old hospital. Interests? - mainly IT related so, as a result, I list the setting up of this website and Ridgeway 24, the station's 24 hour computerised play-out system, as among my achievements. I still look after the website, although have taken a back-seat within Ridgeway Radio generally. I was very pleased when Kieran (above), who has a keen interest in IT and presenting, took on the management of the station's computer system and Ridgeway 24 - he has built upon what was started many years ago and it has gone from strength to strength.
Graham Clements ENGINEER. Graham Clements is another technical whizzkid and is also the station's location recording engineer. With a background in the technical field he has made numerous recordings of classical music concerts and the like.
June Clements

June Clements' special show on a Thursday keeps the patients informed about gardening. Tips and ideas for your own. Also catch her on a Saturday. Watch out for her karaoke!

John & Audrey John is STUDIO MANAGER and started in hospital radio in Poole in the 70s doing outside broadcasts. Since I have been with Ridgeway Radio I have Audrey by my side and she enjoys coming to the station as much as I do, my hobbies include Swanage Railway as a guard, playing the organ, and light music and classical. My Jobs on the station include organising the stations library making the program Sunday praise.
Neil Baker Neil Baker - quiet and mild mannered – until he puts his underpants on over his trousers that is!
Brian Caddy A hospital radio stalwart, Brian Caddy's memories of Dorset bring a smile to our listeners.
John Dolder John Dolder – An old hand in Hospital Radio circles. Some say he's an old hand at everything, but we think that he's as fresh as the day the pod went pop.
Lynne Dolder Lynne Dolder – Behind every great John there's an even greater Lynne, and here's the greatest Lynne of all.
Derek Greenacre Why not let your hair down on a Friday Night? If you're ever feeling down Derek can easily bring you back up. With his light-hearted banter and various features, its the perfect end to the week.
James Clark

I’m one of the younger members of Ridgeway. I started here a few years ago aiding Kieran Williams with his shows. I've come a long way since then, from Saturday mornings, to Saturday evenings and even a 24-hour charity broadcast. You can now hear me every Sunday at 6 on Sunday Selecta, the best collection of songs and nostalgia for your weekends.
